Lewisham
One of the Inner West's smaller suburbs, Lewisham is often overlooked by would be local property buyers, in favour of its prominent neighbours including Petersham, Summer Hill and Dulwich Hill. Located on either side of the Inner West train line, Lewisham has some amazing homes, with a few heritage listed areas.
Given its proximity to the GreenWay corridor, there are parts of this suburb where it's easy forget you're a short drive to the action of places like Enmore and Newtown.

The GreenWay
The GreenWay connects the Cooks river to the Parramatta river along the old Dulwich Hill goods line (now the light rail). Whilst still a work in progress, the proximity of parts of Lewisham to the GreenWay means you’re more likely to hear the sounds of local birdlife here than in many other parts of the Inner West.
Exploring
Lewisham is fortunate to be home to some amazing old homes, and some protected heritage conservation zones. The result is a small collection of streets that are fun to wander. From here, it’s only a short walk to the entertainment options of places like Summer Hill and Petersham. The best of both worlds.
Petersham Park
Technically this is on the border of Lewisham and Petersham, but it still rates a notable mention. With a public swimming pool, a nice cafe, and a backdrop of the old cricket ground, this is one of the Inner West’s nicest parks. With a well equipped kids playground, this is popular year round with local families.
