Buyer's Agent Fees
Buyer’s Agent Service
This service is suitable for people who are after a complete ‘done for you’ property buyer’s agency service.
The Buyer’s Agent service includes:
- A tailored property search including on-market, off-market and pre-market properties
- Access to a client portal
- Inspecting and shortlisting of properties
- Property price appraisal report
- Property due diligence and reporting
- Negotiation (or attending the auction as required)
- Support during the settlement process
- Pre-settlement inspection
We’re committed to finding and securing the right property for you – however many properties that takes. Our standard agreement runs for six months.
Our standard Buyer’s Agency fee sits between $20,000 and $30,000 including GST. We’ll quote your specific fee before you commit to anything — no surprises, nothing open-ended. The fee reflects the complexity of your brief, the market you’re buying in, the level of competition you’re likely to face, and how tightly held your target suburbs are — not how long the search takes or what you end up paying for the property. A $5,000 engagement fee is payable on signing, with the balance payable on exchange.
Evaluate and Negotiate Service
Our Evaluate and Negotiate service is designed for buyers who have found a property they like and want a professional to assess it properly and negotiate the purchase.
We break the service into two stages — Evaluation and Negotiation — so you only commit to what makes sense at each step. Sometimes the most valuable thing we do is tell you not to buy a property. If our due diligence uncovers something serious, there’s no obligation to continue — and nothing further to pay.
The Evaluation Stage includes:
- Physical inspection of the property
- Property price appraisal
- Property due diligence and reporting
The Negotiation Stage includes:
- A tailored negotiation strategy built on the findings of the evaluation
- Negotiation on your behalf – private treaty or auction as required
- Support during the settlement process
- Pre-settlement inspection
Fees (all inclusive of GST):
- Property Evaluation: $2,000
- Property Negotiation: $2,000
- Success fee: $4,000
- Total fee if successful: $8,000
Fees apply to a single property.
The Evaluate and Negotiate service can be upgraded to the Buyer’s Agency service. Where eligible, fees already paid are credited toward the engagement fee.
