Petersham
Sydney's "Little Portugal", Petersham occupies the space just south of Parramatta Road, and shares borders with Leichhardt, Lewisham, Stanmore and Marrickville. Like its Inner West neighbours, it's a melting pot of cultures, with great restaurants, cafes and pubs.
What makes Petersham different is its distinctly Portuguese heritage. Petersham is close to the city, has good transport links and schools, and is a great choice for people looking to move to the Inner West.

Food, food, food
Petersham is the ‘go to’ destination for Portuguese food in Sydney’s Inner West. Try Frangos for authentic charcoal chicken. Other favourites include Sweet Belem on New Canterbury Road and Fich on Audley Street.
Public House Petersham
Already a great pub, and now home to an outpost of Marrickville-based craft brewery “Batch”, Petersham Public House is one of our absolute favourites. Great beer, wood fired pizzas with a classic Inner West vibe.
Petersham Park
One of the Inner West’s finest parks, Petersham Park provides local residents and visitors an idyllic location for picnics, exercise or just to watch one of the local cricket or baseball games on display.
